There are different cutoffs for various exams of the IBPS such as SO, Clerk and PO exam.
Before appearing for the PO exam or any other IBPS exams, the candidate is required to have the full knowledge of marking scheme, question paper pattern as well as the cutoff marks provided by IBPS.
There is a section-wise cutoff in the IBPS Probationary Officer Exam (PO exam). The final marks depend upon the ratio 80:20, where the mains PO exam holds 80% of the marks and 20% of the marks depends upon the PO exam interview.
TWS or the Total Weightage Score refers to the marks that are obtained by the candidates taken in total using a formula. The formula is given below.
Total Scores obtained = Standardized marks obtained in(Reasoning + Quantitative Aptitude + General Awareness + Computer Knowledge + ½ English Language + ½ Descriptive Paper )

The marks not only depend upon the written or online exams but also depends upon the interviews.
The total marks of the CWE for most of the exams are 200 and that of the interview is 100 but the final marks are calculated out of 100.
The marks obtained by the candidates in the CWE are multiplied by 0.4 and the interview marks are multiplied by 0.2. This gives the final marks.
One more important thing to keep in mind is that IBPS releases vacancies for different states too. To crack the exams, the candidate is required to be aware of the state-wise cutoff marks.
